Pursuant to Article 5, Section 18 of the Indiana Constitution and Indiana Code, the Governor of the State of Indiana has the authority to fill judicial vacancies as they occur in the state.
Hammond City Court Judicial Vacancy
The Governor's Office is now accepting applications for Hammond City Court Judge. All applications must be completed and returned to the Governor's Office by the close of business on Friday, May 27, 2016. The Governor’s Office is also accepting recommendation letters for this vacancy during this time period.
