HIP Employer Link

HIP Employer Link > Employee Information > Employee Outreach Toolkit Employee Outreach Toolkit

Are you eligible to participate in HIP Employer Link, but your employer is not enrolled? Here are some ways that you can help your employer sign-up!

  1. Talk to your Human Resources (HR) manager or an appropriate person in that department. You could say something like: The State of Indiana has a new program that would help my family and I afford the cost of our employer sponsored health insurance. Have you heard about HIP Employer Link?

If your employer wants more information, the best place for them to start is on this website: You can also print this handout [link to employer overview] and give it to your employer/HR representative.
  2. Email your HR Manager/representative and let them know about our program. Here is some text you can copy and paste into the email:

“Hello, I wanted to let you know that the State of Indiana has a program that could help me better afford the cost of health insurance offered here at work.  It is called HIP Employer Link. This program does not change our health insurance plan, but it does require the employer to register first. It is very easy to apply and does not cost the company additional money. I believe this program would not only help me, but might help some of my coworkers.

For more information visit Or you can contact a recruiter directly at Thank you for taking the time to consider helping me.”
