Mental health and substance abuse block grant

The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration requires the Division of Mental Health and Addiction to annually submit a plan explaining how they will use their Mental Health Block Grant funds and/or Substance Abuse Block Grant Funds to provide comprehensive, community mental health services to adults with serious mental illnesses, Substance Use Disorder, and children with serious emotional disturbances. SAMHSA also requires recipients to provide annual reports on their plans. Both the annual plans and annual reports are to be publicly available to the community and allow for public comments.
