Tour of Crane Naval for Indiana Business Development

Lt. Governor Skillman addresses business leaders at Crane Naval

On November 17th, ProLiance sponsored a trip for large and small Indiana companies to learn more about the opportunities of working with and at Crane Naval. Over 50 business leaders were in attendance with OED and Lt. Governor Skillman. This serves as another example of how the State is working with local companies to grow Indiana's economy.

Lt. Governor Skillman opens E85 pump at Crane Naval

Lt. Governor Becky Skillman traveled to Crane on Friday, November 17 for the grand opening of the new E85 pump at Naval Support Activity Crane (NSA Crane).  This pump will fuel Crane’s fleet of 150 E85 compatible vehicles that average approximately 6,000 miles per year.  This will equate to an annual consumption of approximately 45,000 gallons of E85 fuel, reducing conventional fuel use by 38,000 gallons a year.

Daniels Named Public Official of the Year by National Defense Association

On Monday, ADC honored Governor Mitch Daniels with its Public Official of the Year Award in recognition of his success in last year's Base Realignment and Closure process and his bold vision to use the state's military communities and businesses to build a powerful economic development engine for Indiana.
