WorkOne Programs

Dream it, Do it:
Dream it. Do it. provides opportunities for young adults to learn about exciting careers in manufacturing.

Jobs for America's Graduates (JAG):
JAG is a school-to-career program implemented to keep young people in school through graduation and provide work-based learning experiences that will lead to career advancement.

MindLeaders:
It is WorkOne’s promise to give every customer an opportunity to assess, grow and develop their skills, and then find the best job that matches those skills. In an effort to meet this commitment, MindLeaders Personal Learning Service and e-Learning courses are now available. These FREE courses are offered through the Internet from your home, office or anywhere you can be connected to the Internet. Wide assortments of courses are available in a number of areas including Microsoft Office, Business Communication and Development, Leadership. MIS/IT ... over 170 course titles are accessible.

Rapid Response:
Rapid Response is a program that assists workers, the employer and the community by keeping Indiana working. The sooner workers start to manage the change, the better the outcome will be for everyone impacted by the job loss:

  • For Hoosier families

Ready Indiana:
Ready Indiana is a program for Indiana Employers to help identify, aid, and implement training in the workplace.

Senior Community Service Employment Program
Senior Community Service Employment Program is a part-time employment program for low-income persons age 55 or over. Program participants learn job skills at community and government agencies while being paid the federal or state minimum wage, whichever is higher. The intent of the program is that participants use this experience as a bridge to other employment positions which are not supported with federal funds.

Trade Adjustment Assistance (TAA):
Trade Adjustment Assistance helps individuals who have become unemployed as a result of imports from, or shifts in production to, other countries.

Vocational Rehabilitation Services (VRS):
Vocational Rehabilitation Services help individuals with disabilities to prepare for, obtain, or retain employment.

Work Keys:
The Work Keys Program is for both employees and employers. The Employee side helps match an individual and their traits to the correct employment. The Employer side helps the employer define what skills are critical to the company's success.

Work Opportunity Tax Credit (WOTC):
The Work Opportunity Tax Credit (WOTC) is a Federal tax credit incentive that the Congress provides to private-sector businesses for hiring individuals from twelve target groups who have consistently faced significant barriers to employment. The main objective of this program is to enable the targeted employees to gradually move from economic dependency into self-sufficiency as they earn a steady income and become contributing taxpayers, while the participating employers are compensated by being able to reduce their federal income tax liability. WOTC joins other workforce programs that help incentivize workplace diversity and facilitate access to good jobs for American workers.
