Introduction

The Indiana Department of Workforce Development and its local WorkOne Employment Centers are hosting an ATA “Job and Career Transition Conference,” scheduled for May 14 at the Ivy Tech Community College’s main campus in Indianapolis from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

The Job and Career Transition Conference will feature several Central Indiana employers who have expressed hiring needs and who would like to present information about their companies and provide you with a chance to meet their representatives.  Our participating employer’s list will be updated daily on this page.

We recommend that you attend this conference to learn about job opportunities, training and valuable services including career consultations, resume-writing, job search and interviewing help, and various other workshops.  Bring extra resumes with you.

What to Bring

  • Bring resumes and if you have a thumb drive or CD with an electronic version of your resume, bring that as well.
  • Brown bag lunch (although vending machines are available)
  • Note: facility is WIFI

Brown-Bag Lunch Day Format:  Bring your brown-bag lunch – this is a full day.  You are encouraged to attend your preferred breakout sessions, network, access computers, and visit with individual employers (in addition to each employer’s group introduction, they will have staff on hand in assigned rooms to offer additional insight, answer questions and discuss interviews).
