As a part of the Indiana University system in Northern Indiana, our office knows how confusing it is to understand and apply for VA educational benefits, navigate university procedures, and find the resources students need to be successful in their academic goals but we are committed to providing our military students and families with personal support and assistance for both VA educational benefits and the college experience. We are here to serve you and we encourage and welcome you to visit our office at any time located in the Education and Arts Building (EA), room 2101. Our office is staffed with current Veteran students who both go to school on a full-time basis and work in our office part-time to assist other Veterans, Servicemembers, and their families navigate and understand benefits, resolve VA education issues, and enhance the college experience. While our office can assist with VA education benefits, we cannot determine eligibility, as applications for VA educational benefits are processed and evaluated directly by the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs. In addition to VA educational benefits, our office can assist with understanding chapter benefits and answering questions, but we cannot tell a student which benefit is best for them; as each chapter benefit may impact a student differently based on personal circumstances.
