For many Hoosiers, tax season can be stressful and unnerving. But, it doesn’t have to be! The Indiana Department of Revenue is here for you. There are numerous ways to get in touch with a department representative. Whether you prefer to communicate via the phone or online, we’re ready to assist you.
The department offers English and Spanish phone support Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. For individual income tax assistance, call the department at (317) 232-2240.
If you have a question about your individual income tax return, you can send an email at firstname.lastname@example.org. Bilingual representatives are available to respond to Spanish emails.
The department is active on Facebook and Twitter. If you need assistance, feel free to send a message, and we’ll help you work through your issue. Remember, never share any personal or private information, such as your Social Security number, on social media.
