2016 Annual Report Published

Fiscal Year 2016, that period ending June 30, 2016, was an eventful and productive time for the department. During this time period, the department successfully completed Tax Amnesty 2015, among many other projects.
On October 1, former Commissioner Andrew Kossack provided Governor Mike Pence with the Indiana Department of Revenue’s FY 2016 Annual Report, which details the department’s continued focus on enhancing customer service, improving controls and structure, increasing taxpayer compliance, and delivering value to the state of Indiana.
In addition to focusing on the department’s achievements, the report also identifies future activities and priorities. As Indiana celebrates its Bicentennial and looks towards its third century, this year’s annual report takes a “Look Back” at FY 2016 and a “Look Forward” to the department’s future goals and initiatives. The report shares facts and anecdotes from the history of the department and taxation in the state of Indiana.
