Tax Amnesty 2015 Letters Coming Soon to Eligible Taxpayers
August 19, 2015
More than 260,000 Indiana taxpayers are eligible to participate in Tax Amnesty 2015. These taxpayers soon will receive a letter from the Indiana Department of Revenue announcing their eligibility.
Tax Amnesty 2015 is a limited-time opportunity for both individuals and businesses to pay past-due taxes free of penalty, interest, and collection fees. The program will run from September 15, 2015 through November 16, 2015.
Carefully read your letter to determine your eligibility for Tax Amnesty 2015.
I received a letter from the department which includes a Tax Amnesty 2015 coupon. What should I do?

To participate in Tax Amnesty 2015 and settle your past-due taxes free of penalty, interest, and collection fees, use the included envelope to send the department your coupon and full payment. - You have a liability where the taxpayer advocate has ordered a hold to cease collection efforts and establish a payment plan;
- You established a payment plan with the department or a collection agent; or
- Your liability has been placed on hold by the Audit Division or the Special Investigations Unit.
