Annually, the Indiana Department of Revenue provides the governor of Indiana an annual report. Department of Revenue Commissioner Mike Alley provided Governor Mike Pence with the Indiana Department of Revenue’s Fiscal Year 2013 Annual Report on Oct. 1.

This year’s report details how the department continued to focus on enhancing its service delivery, improving its controls and governance structure, increasing taxpayer compliance, and preparing to deliver greater value to the State of Indiana.

The report not only looks back in the “rearview mirror” of fiscal year 2013 by reviewing the department’s achievements and collections, but also it maps the department’s roadmap by identifying the future activities and priorities of the department. The measurement of the department’s future success remains providing exceptional customer service, effectively administering and collecting tax revenues, and delivering reliable and useful financial information to better serve the state of Indiana and its taxpayers.
