The State of Indiana has consolidated all driver licensing responsibilities, including the Commercial Driver’s License (CDL), to the Bureau of Motor Vehicles (BMV). Hoosier drivers will now have one source for all licensing-related information.

For CDL information or questions, you can contact the BMV by phone at 1-866-829-0501, by fax at 317-974-1613, or by mail at Indiana BMV, Attn: CDL Programs, 100 N. Senate Ave., IGCN, Room N481, Indianapolis, IN 46204.

Drivers can now take their physicals to their local license branches. Please note that the BMV Central Office location does not accept physicals dropped off in person.

For more information about the CDL program, please visit BMV at www.in.gov/bmv/2854.htm.
