About SOII
The Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) Annual Survey of Occupational Injuries and Illnesses (SOII) provides estimates of the number and rates of work-related injuries and illnesses. Employers are asked questions concerning work-related injuries and illnesses. Over 5,000 surveys are processed and coded by the Indiana Department of Labor Quality, Metrics & Statistics staff annually.
