The members of the Indiana Occupational Safety Standards Commission are appointed by the Governor. The Commission adopts health and safety standards, and considers and approves requests for variances.

The Commission is authorized under Indiana Code 22-8-1.1, the Indiana Occupational Safety and Health Act.
The Commission’s rules and procedures are found in Title 620 of the Indiana Administrative Code, Occupational Safety Standards Commission.
