Welcome to the Division of Water Map Modernization web page. This page was developed to help support the state's floodplain mapping Initiative. On this site you will be able to view the preliminary maps, check the status of the mapping, and find general information regarding the mapping program, floodplain management, and hydrologic and hydraulic modeling. Maps are in PDF format. To view them, make sure your Web browser is configured to display PDFs (instead of downloading and viewing them in Adobe Acrobat). On the Macintosh, the procedure works with Safari, but not Firefox.
Available Preliminary Digital Flood Insurance Rate Maps are shaded in yellow, final maps are blue and will redirect you to the FEMA website.
Additional revisions are preliminary and identified with a cross hatch pattern on the map at right for limited counties identified as PMR (Physical Map Revision) or LOMR (Letter Of Map Revision).
