2008 News Notes
Prophetstown State Park right off I-65 at Lafayette is taking reservations for the 2008 camping season. Inventory includes 55 electric and 55 full hook-up campsites. They also have four reservable shelters ideal for family reunions, group picnics and other summer activities.
O'Bannon Woods State Park (formerly Wyandotte Woods SRA) has added some horsemen campsites to the reservable inventory.
Mississinewa Lake is back! The dam repair will allow Mississinewa Lake to return to summer pool this summer. We anticipate a restored beach and a return to a full range of summer boating and water-based activities.

Many beaches will remain open, however, most may be unguarded allowing patrons to swim at their own risk.
