counting vegetation at Turkey Run

State parks and reservoirs have long been ideal areas for many scientists and researchers to conduct their work. Many of our properties have benefited greatly from different kinds of research. Recent research at our properties has included such topics as: Eastern hemlock genetics, mercury flow, chickadee ecology, copperhead distribution/movement patterns, and various inventories of flora and fauna.

Below are links to help those interested in conducting research and/or collecting from a state park or reservoir do so legally since many state and federal laws are involved.
