Patches for Individual Children
Our patch programs are designed to encourage one-on-one interaction between the interpreter and the child. Children have a chance to see programs and discover what an interpretive naturalist does. They investigate plants and animals and explore history and the DNR along the way! State Parks offers the Smokey’s Friend, Junior Naturalist and Hoosier Ecologist programs. Reservoirs offer Nature’s Pal, Junior Wildlifer and Reservoir Ranger.

Patches for Groups
The Hoosier Pathfinder Patch Program is designed especially for school, scout or other groups who would like to earn a patch. The program involves hiking and a service project at a state park or reservoir property. Patches can then be purchased through Turkey Run Inn.
