Rain Gardens- What They Are & How To Start Your Own
January 24, 2008, 7:00 pm
Zion Nature Center, Zionsville, 690 Beech Street Zionsville, IN 46077
In the Midwest where drinking water often comes from rain and stream water collected in surface reservoirs, it is important to reduce storm run-off, which contributes to water pollution. Rain gardens are a means for a gardener to have a positive impact on water quality while enjoying a beautiful garden that is attractive to humans and wildlife. Myrene Brown will teach you how to install a rain garden on your property. Please register for this FREE program by calling 317-873-8950 or by email at znaturecenter@aol.com.
