6-Hour Basic Workshop

Duration: 1 Day (6 hours)

Workshop Goals:

  1. Provide hands-on experience in the use of the Project WET Curriculum and Activity Guide.
  2. Explore a range of activities that can be infused into science, math, language arts, social studies, reading, art, and music curricula in grades K through 12.
  3. Supply information about Indiana's water resources and water quality management issues.
  4. Link educators with water resource agencies and conservation programs.

Basic workshops are interactive. You will experience the activities of the Project WET Curriculum and Activity Guide from a student's perspective. You will lead one activity during a group peer teaching session.

Fees are collected to cover the cost of the curriculum guide ($15). Some workshops may charge additional fees, if there are costs for sites, meals, etc.
