Blue River Corridor Nature Preserve, Harrison and Washington County- Acquired in 1994, these 257.02 acres of inholding help to protect the Blue River.Whippoorwill Woods Nature Preserve, Brown County- Acquired in 2001, this 23.509-acre addition to the existing 800-acre complex of uplands and ravines is dominated by mesic upland forest and connects the preserve to a county road ...Versailles State Park, Ripley County- Acquired in 2001, these 83.30 acres were added to the east side of the state park. They contain a small pond and some wooded areas.... Brush Creek Fish & Wildlife Area, Jennings County- Acquired in 1997, these 61.32 acres of wildlife habitat are adjacent to the state fish and wildlife area. Crosley Fish & Wildlife Area, Jennings County- Acquired in 1997, these 40 acres of steep, wooded terrain along the Muscatatuck River provide excellent wildlife habitat.Skyline Drive in Jackson-Washington State Forest, Jackson County- Acquired in 1999, this 15-acre wooded inholding eliminates 2/3 mile of property lines along Skyline Drive, a well-known scenic state forest road. Chelsea Flatwoods Nature Preserve, Jefferson County- Acquired in 2000, this was a 44.41-acre addition to the Bluegrass Till Plain Flatwoods. This community type has a high global ranking and is believed to exist only in Indiana and Ohio.Clifty Falls State Park, Jefferson County- Acquired in 1998, these 55 acres added to the existing state park. Land on the north side of the state park would be prime for housing development, but can serve as additional buffer...Muscatatuck River Bottoms, Scott County- Acquired in 1998 and 2001, these 1428 acres of forested bottomlands along the Muscatatuck River are part of one of the few remaining large tracts of woodland floodplains in Indiana.Hardy Lake Reservoir, Scott County- Acquired in 1996, this was a 60-acre addition to the recreation facility.
