This buck swimming across Sugar Creek in September of last year was captured by the shutter of Jackie Schocke’s Sony Cyber-Shot camera. The Indianapolis resident and her husband Bill Ray, who have been subscribers for more than 10 years, saw the 10-pointer while hiking Trail 1 at Turkey Run State Park.
Gil Patmore of Schererville in Lake County spotted these migrating American white pelicans at LaSalle Fish & Wildlife Area on the beautiful but windy morning of April 4. He used a Canon 7D camera and a 400mm F5.6 lens to record the scene. He has been a subscriber for about two years.
