Lafayette resident Don Baumis captured this landscape featuring the Michigan City East Pierhead Lighthouse. Built in 1904, the lighthouse is in Michigan City’s Washington Park on Lake Michigan.
Delmar Evans of Williamsport found this Cooper’s hawk eyeing his bird feeders. Evans said the hawk’s hunt was unsuccessful; no birds arrived during its 30-minute wait, and it moved on.
Rob Smith of Carmel endured the ice and snow to shoot this wintry scene near Duck Pond at Fort Harrison State Park.
