Tentative activities are listed below. The majority occur throughout the day both Saturday and Sunday. Hours for the event are 10 a.m. - 6 p.m.

Specific Activity Times

  • Fish Cleaning and Cooking: 11:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. and 3:30-5:30 p.m. each day.
  • Building Wildlife Feeders: 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. Saturday only.
  • Field to Table Venison Workshop (Delaware Lake): 10 a.m. - 1 p.m. Saturday only.
  • Field to Table Waterfowl Workshop (Delaware Lake): 2:30 p.m. both Saturday and Sunday.
  • Retriever Demonstrations (Delaware Lake): 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. (depending on weather).
  • Camping Crafts, Cooking and Packing Demos: 11 a.m., 12 p.m., 2 p.m., 3 p.m.
  • Camptown Cooking Demonstrations (Main Event Area): 10 a.m. Saturday breakfast on a camp stove; lunch with pudgy pie makers 1 p.m. Saturday; dinner Dutch oven cooking 4 p.m. Saturday; Brunch-Foil Packet Cooking noon Sunday; dinner one pot meal 3 p.m. Sunday.
  • Guided Trail Runs: 10:30 a.m., 12 p.m., 1:30 p.m., 3 p.m., 4:30 p.m.
  • Guided Trail Runner Stretching Workshop: 11:15 a.m., 12:45 p.m., 2:15 p.m., 3:45 p.m., 5:15 p.m.
  • Saturday Only: Field to Table Venison Workshop; IWF Building for Wildlife; State Parks’ History & Arthropods Alive at Hands on Nature Tent; Remote control boats at Delaware Lake.

Horseback Riding

NOTE: There is no online or advanced registration for horseback riding. To register for ride times, visit the saddle barn during the event on the day you wish to ride. There will be both a morning and an afternoon sign up period. Reservation window will open at 10am to fill the available morning slots, and then again at 1:15 pm to fill the afternoon slots. Please expect lines due to the popularity of this activity. Space is extremely limited and there will be long waiting periods. Spots are first come, first served. No shows for reserved ride slots will be filled with visitors waiting in line.
