Common Name: Eastern Massasauga Rattlesnake

Scientific Name: Sistrurs c. catenatus
Diet: Mice, shrews, moles, lizards, birds, frogs, crayfish and other snakes
Status: State endangered and candidate for Federal listing
Fun Fact: The Eastern Massasauga Rattlesnake is rare in Indiana and populations are limited to the northern half of the state.
