Ryan Klitzsch
Mr. Klitzsch was born in Peoria, Illinois where he lived briefly before moving to Verona, Wisconsin, a suburb of Madison. Ryan graduated from Verona Area High School and went on to attend the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire, where he majored in Criminal Justice. After graduation Ryan then served in the Peace Corps as a health education and community development volunteer for two years in the Republic of Moldova, formally of the Soviet Union. While in Moldova, Mr. Klitzsch helped procure several successful grants that helped to purchase a building for a local youth center which included a library, computers, and educational materials.
After his two years of service, Ryan then moved to Washington, D.C., where he worked as a Fraud Investigator for Navy Federal Credit Union before moving to Indianapolis to work at the Indiana Criminal Justice Institute in 2004. Ryan worked as a Claim Analyst for Victim Services before moving over to the Traffic Safety Division where he held multiple positions before being named Division Director. While working full time Ryan obtained his Masters in Public Affairs from Indiana University-Purdue University of Indianapolis. Ryan lives in Indianapolis with his wife Angela, young son and his dog Lucky Strike.
