Sarah DavisVOCA Program Coordinator

Sarah was born and raised in Winamac, Indiana, where she graduated from Winamac Community High School. She is a graduate of Saint Joseph’s College in Rensselaer, where she graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Management.

Sarah joined the Indiana Criminal Justice Institute in December of 2003 with the Victim Services Division as a claims analyst. In this position, she made determinations on applications for Indiana’s Violent Crime Victim Compensation Fund. In August 2005, she returned to the Victim Services Division upon request to assist the agency with division staffing and expertise needs.

In August 2004, Sarah joined the Institute’s Youth Division as the Safe Haven Program Director and Program Director for Project IMPACT. Through her position, she worked with public and charter schools across the state to address issues related to school safety and before and after school programs for students. Sarah was also the Indiana Criminal Justice Institute’s designee to the Indiana School Safety Specialist Academy Advisory Group.

Sarah became the VOCA (Victims of Crime Act) Program Coordinator in July 2006.
