  • Air Bag & Seat Belt Safety Campaign
    The Air Bag & Seat Belt Safety Campaign, under the umbrella of the National Safety Council, began in the Spring of 1996 and is supported by American and international automakers, insurance companies, occupant restraint manufacturers, and others. The goal of the campaign is to maximize the benefits of air bags while minimizing the risks.

  • International Center for Injury Prevention
    The International Center for Injury Prevention (ICIP) is an international nonprofit organization incorporated in 1992. The ICIP promotes the adoption of safe behaviors by providing safety products, information and education program assistance and promoting information sharing.
  • Citizens for Reliable and Safe Highways
    Citizens for Reliable and Safe Highways (CRASH) is a nationwide, grassroots nonprofit organization dedicated to improving overall truck safety in the U.S. and eliminating the unnecessary deaths and injuries caused by truck crashes every year.
  • Coalition for Vehicle Choice
    The Coalition for Vehicle Choice (CVC) is a nonprofit organization created to preserve the freedom of Americans to choose motor vehicles that meet their needs and their freedom to travel. The CVC includes individuals and groups from all walks of life who believe freedom of choice and mobility are important values that must be considered when society develops polices intended to protect the environment, encourage energy efficiency and promote traffic safety.
  • Insurance Institute for Highway Safety
    The Insurance Institute for Highway Safety is an independent, nonprofit, scientific and educational organization. It is dedicated to reducing the losses - deaths, injuries, and property damage - resulting from crashes on the nation's highways. The Institute is wholly supported by automobile insurers. IIHS also houses the Highway Loss Data Institute, a public service organization that gathers, processes, and publishes data on the ways in which insurance losses vary among different kinds of vehicles.

  • Network of Employers for Traffic Safety
    The Network of Employers for Traffic Safety (NETS) is a public-private partnership dedicated to reducing traffic deaths and injuries in our nation's workforce. By helping employers implement well-developed policies, dynamic workplace programs, and compelling community activities related to traffic safety, NETS will significantly enhance the quality of life and reduce the cost of doing business for member organizations.
  • Operation Lifesavers
    Operation Lifesaver is a nonprofit, nationwide public education program designed to eliminate collisions, deaths, and injuries at highway-rail intersections and on railroad rights-of-way. It is sponsored cooperatively by a wide variety of partners, including federal, state and local government agencies, highway safety and transportation organizations, and the nation's railroads.

CFA is also an educational organization, disseminating information on consumer issues to the public, the media and policymakers.
  • Center for Science in the Public Interest
    The Center for Science in the Public Interest (CSPI) is a nonprofit education and advocacy organization that focuses on improving the safety and nutritional quality of our food supply and on reducing the carnage caused by alcoholic beverages.
