Indiana Bovine TB Teleconference

The discovery of bovine tuberculosis (TB in Southeastern Indiana last April set into motion a major response effort by the Indiana State Board of Animal Health (BOAH) and the Indiana Department of Natural Resources (DNR).
This teleconference will provide an update on the status of the investigation, findings in cattle and wild deer population, and next steps in the process.
The teleconference is open to anyone who wants to listen in or participate in the question and answer session.
Indiana Department of Natural Resources Wildlife Disease Biologist Joe Caudell, PhD. will provide an update on hunter-harvest surveillance of wild, white-tailed deer. Indiana State Veterinarian Bret D. Marsh, DVM will present the cattle surveillance program progress and how the investigation has interfaced with other state, federal and local agencies, as well as partner groups.
