The Indiana Attorney General Steve Carter and its partners are pleased to offer this site as a resource for educators, youth leaders, parents and students. This site is a "one-stop-shop" for safety information relating to health risk behaviors that contribute to the leading causes of death and social problems among Indiana’s youth. In an on-going effort, we will provide you with the latest links, downloads and other resources on safety information covering the issues outlined in this initiative.
The Indiana Safe Students Initiative is an educational outreach effort that provides tools designed to teach adolescents and those influencing their lives about ways to prevent behavioral health issues that could result in injury or death. The initiative consists of the following four key issues that pose high risks against Indiana’s middle and high school aged students:
- Internet Crimes
- Teen Dating Violence
- Teen Suicide
- Underage Drinking & Driving
