The Attorney General's Identity (ID) Theft Unit assists ID theft victims and provides investigative services to help promote the prosecution of ID thieves. The ID Theft Unit is committed to reducing incidents of ID theft around the state by providing educational resources to teach Hoosiers how to protect their identities.

If you believe your personal information has been stolen and/or used by someone else, download the ID Theft Victim Kit and follow the steps outlined in the guide. You are also encouraged to file an ID theft complaint with the Attorney General's ID Theft Unit.
