Indiana Bicentennial Medal Design Competition Indiana Bicentennial Medal Design Competition

PROGRAM DESCRIPTION
Indiana will celebrate its 200th anniversary of statehood in 2016. To honor this historic anniversary, the state will release a commemorative collector medal. The Indiana Bicentennial Commission, assisted by the staff of the Indiana Arts Commission, seeks an artist to create the obverse design (heads) for the Indiana Bicentennial commemorative medal. The work will be reflective of Indiana’s 200 years of history. The State Seal will be represented on the reverse of the medal.
 
The winning artist will receive a $5,000 cash award for their design!

HOW TO SUBMIT
The application and artwork must be submitted by the deadline: Monday, June 29, 2015, 4:30 p.m. EDT. The application must be submitted through www.callforentry.org. Applicants will need to visit www.callforentry.org and create an account before uploading their application.
 
ELIGIBILITY
No more than one application per applicant will be accepted. To enter, you must be:

  • A permanent, legal resident of Indiana, age 18 years or older. 
  • Applicant must be willing to work with the committee, should the committee wish for changes to the drawing.
  • Applicant must be willing to meet project deadlines.
