Creating Vibrant Communities through the Arts

Interested in creating a Cultural District in your town or city? Looking to advance local growth and community engagement? Want to revitalize a neighborhood or community through the arts? Join us for Creating Vibrant Communities through the Arts, a two-day colloquium on community innovation and growth for arts organizations and community partners in Indiana, Kentucky, and Ohio.

Creating Vibrant Communities through the Arts will feature sessions with regionally and nationally recognized presenters exploring best practices and practical planning tools for cultural districts, community engagement, arts business incubators, rural and urban revitalization, and community planning. Space is limited, so register as a community team or individual today!

Dates and Times:
Thursday, June 6th, 11:00 a.m. - 7:30 p.m. (including pre-program workshop)
Friday, June 7th, 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.

Registration: Early Bird: $75 per individual; $175 per team of 3. Regular (beginning April 20, 2013): $90 per individual; $200 per team of 3. For team registration, click here. For individual registration, click here.

  • These rates do not include registration for the Pre-Program Workshop. Registration for the Pre-Program Workshop is $20.
  • Community teams made up of civic leaders, educators, business leaders, arts organization leaders, and local elected officials are encouraged to attend this important colloquium.
  • Dietary and accessibility needs must be received with registration form.
  • From Ohio? Be one of the first ten Ohio teams to register and receive a $175 scholarship towards your team registration. OAC scholarships available on a first come, first serve basis. Questions should be directed toward the OAC. (614) 466-2613.
