Community Action Agencies (CAA)

Provide a range of services and activities that assist low-income participants to secure and retain meaningful employment, attain adequate education, make better use of income, obtain adequate housing, provide emergency assistance, improve living environments through weatherization and energy assistance, nutrition and remove barriers to self-sufficiency.

Area Agencies on Aging (AAA)

Providing in-home services as an alternative to institutional placement for elderly and disabled persons is the goal of the Bureau of Aging and IN-home services. These services are managed at the local level by an assessment and case management process through the Indiana Area Agencies on Aging.
