Event Description:
The open house for Yellowwood and Morgan-Monroe State Forests will be held at the Yellowwood State Forest office. It is located 7 miles southwest of Nashville, off State Road 46, phone: (812) 988-7945.
The DNR Division of Forestry will provide information about recreational activities, budget, staffing, major projects, its strategic plan, invasive species, and forest resource management. Attendees can talk directly with DNR personnel or submit written comments. Some open houses include a tour of facilities or a woods walk.
