Invasive Species Round-Up, Chain O'Lakes State Park

Event Description:

Saturday, September 22nd

Noon- 3 pm

Meet at the boat rental parking area (on top of the hill)

Come help us celebrate National Public Lands Day at Chain O’Lakes State Park.  Free gate admission on Sept. 22nd, and an excellent opportunity to volunteer here at the park. 

No experience required, activities will include cutting down and clearing invasives.  Local volunteers and experts helping us to promote restoration and resilience in our park system. 

Opportunities for all ages, groups, and families to participate! Come make a noticeable difference here at the park!

Please bring/wear: closed toed shoes, long pants, gloves, & water bottle (long sleeved shirt, eye protection, loppers, and clippers are also suggested, if available)
