Learn to Hunt: Family Dove Hunting Workshop

LaSalle Fish & Wildlife Area is teaming up with the Izaak Walton League (Diana Chapter) to hold this workshop.

September 2, 2017- 10:00a.m.-5:00p.m.

This workshop is designed for Families wanting to learn how to hunt doves. Participants will learn: firearm safety, techniques for pass shooting, dove field rules and ethics, hunt with a mentor, how to clean your harvested game, and cooking ideas. All firearms, ammunition, and clay targets will be provided, but you are welcome to bring your own. Participants must be at least 10 years of age and participants under 17 must be accompanied by an adult.

Note: You are required to have a valid hunting license, and game bird stamp to participate. If you bring you own ammunition for the hunt it must be non-toxic.
