[DNR] Project WET/Aquatic Project WILD workshop, Ecolab, Marian University

3200 Cold Springs Rd, Indianapolis, IN
Cost: Free

Project WET and Project WILD are award winning conservation education curriculum programs.
Lessons are interdisciplinary and hands-on, teaching a wide variety of environmental concepts
in a fun, interactive way. Educators can use the lessons as stand-alone units or as supplemental
materials to existing programs. During the workshop participants will experience several of the
activities and teaching methods in the guides as well as receive guidance on integrating the
materials into their programs.
Participants will receive:
• Eligible to receive $50 stipend upon completion of workshop
• Lunch will be provided with options to meet special dietary needs.
• Eligibility to apply for a grant (up to $500) to conduct a water-related project with students
• Project WET & Aquatic Project WILD curriculum guides
Those who teach or who lead youth- serving programs and who reside in Marion
County will be given priority registration through Sept. 13th.
This event is part of the White River Festival and presented by the Indiana Division of Fish & Wildlife in partnership with Reconnecting to Our Waterways (ROW).
