Free with Park Entrance Fee: $7 for Indiana Carload; $9 for out-of-state carload

Learn about archaeology, precontact life skills, and learn to throw an atlatl.  DHPA staff archaeologist Cathy Draeger Williams will talk about what is an archaeologist at 10:30AM, life skills (weaving, mock dig, string making, etc) is from 11:30 am - 2 pm, and the atlatl challenge is from 2:30-4:30 pm.

This event is a part of Indiana Archaeology Month.  During September, organizations around the state celebrate archaeology by hosting events where individuals can learn more about the archaeology field and the past.  Learn more at
