Join us for two new early childhood programs in one day! Project Learning Tree’s Environmental Experiences for Early Childhood and Growing Up WILD from Project WILD both integrate nature-based exploration, art, literature, math, music and movement, and outdoor play into early childhood education programs for ages three through seven. Together the guides contain 38 activities that encourage young children to explore the senses, seasons, neighborhood trees, and wildlife in the world around them. Participants will receive the Growing Up WILD guide and the PLT Environmental Experiences for Early Childhood Guide. Both guides have been correlated to national standards for preschool education by three major early childhood accreditation programs: National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC), North American Association for Environmental Education (NAAEE) Early Childhood Environmental Education Guidelines for Excellence, and the Head Start Child Outcomes Framework.
Professional Growth Experience Points are available upon completion.
Registration is limited to 15 participants.  Deadline: August 11, 2014
