8:00 a.m. - noon CT
LaSalle Fish & Wildlife Area includes several high quality wetland complexes that are threatened by invasive species. Come learn about and help eradicate one of the most difficult invasive species to manage: purple loosestrife (Lythrum salicaria).
There are no special skills required for this project. We will provide garbage bags for removing the plants from the area. Participants should wear boots, gloves, pants, and long-sleeved shirts. Minors must be accompanied by an adult.
