Event Description:
– Raccoon State Recreation Area will be hosting an all-ages Bicycle Parade on Saturday, August 4th from 6:30 to 7:30 pm to celebrate Smokey Bear’s Birthday!
The schedule of events is: 6:30 - 6:59 pm bicycle decorating, and 7:00pm - 7:30 pm Pedal Parade. Participants are asked to meet at the Chapel Shelter located near the campground within Raccoon SRA. A limited amount of decorating supplies will be provided. Participants are encouraged to bring any special items to make their bike look unique.
The Parade will wind its way through the campground, so campers are encouraged to keep an eye out and cheer on the participants!
This program is free of charge and open to all park visitors. Standard park admission fees of $7 for Indiana vehicles and $9 for out-of-state vehicles apply.
