Monroe Lake Aquatic Habitat Structure Build Day, Bloomington
Start Date: 6/25/2019Start Time: 5:30 PM
End Date: 6/25/2019End Time: 7:30 PM
Event Description:

Division of Fish & Wildlife staff welcome volunteers to help us construct aquatic habitat on Tuesday, June 25. Volunteers will work directly with DNR staff to build structures from lumber that will be sunk into Monroe Lake in Bloomington, IN this summer. These structures will provide fish with a place to live, eat, and breed.

We ask that volunteers arrive at the DNR Bloomington Office (5596 East State Road 46 Bloomington, IN 47401) for instruction. Volunteers are encouraged to dress appropriately for working outside and to bring items such as snacks, water, protective eyewear, gloves, and cordless drills. Equipment will be provided for those without.

No registration is required. This is an informal event and people are welcome to come and go as they are available.
