Learn to Fly Fish, Fort Harrison State Park

Event Description:
Participants will learn how to fly fish on their own. First, participants will learn about fish biology, habitat, and fishing regulations. They will then learn about fly fishing tackle and techniques. They will practice casting a fly rod that they put together. Participants will then use newly learned skills and knowledge to go fly fishing.

Participants must be 16 years or older. Participants under 18 must be accompanied by a registered and related adult. Participants 18 and older must have a fishing license, which must be purchased in advance online (if you don't already have one) at https://on.in.gov/inhuntfish or a local retailer. All fishing equipment will be provided. Workshop is free but pre-registration is required.
