Seven projects are to rehabilitate existing public access sites that are in need of repair and to ensure that the sites are compliant with ADA standards. Rehab projects at Ashby Pit, Big Otter Lake, Everett Lake, Loon Pit, Shock Lake, and West Twin Pit will provide access to those lakes and will consist of installation of a new prefabricated concrete boat ramp to replace the existing boat ramp and installation or upgrade of an ADA concrete parking pad. The public access rehabilitation at Laughery Creek will provide access to Laughery Creek and will consist of installation of a new prefabricated concrete boat ramp to replace the existing boat ramp and installation or upgrade of an ADA concrete parking pad. The public access rehabilitation at Whitney Pit will provide access to the Whitney Pit and will involve replacing an existing boat ramp with a new prefabricated canoe launch.

Two new construction projects will involve the construction of both new concrete boat ramps and ADA-accessible parking pads. The Town of Patoka project in Gibson County would provide new access to the Patoka River and ADA-accessible parking. A new gravel parking lot and entrance road will also be constructed. In LaPorte County, the Hudson Lake project will provide new access to Hudson Lake, including a new concrete boat ramp, ADA parking, a new gravel parking lot and access road.
