Event Description: Family Learn to Fish Workshops are designed specifically for families (new to fishing) to learn how to fish. Families will learn a little fish biology, gain some basic fishing skills, and get to go fishing at the park’s lake or pond.
No experience is needed. No fishing license is required because it’s a Free Fishing Day. All fishing equipment and bait will be provided. Children must be 6 years or older and must be accompanied by a related adult. Workshop is free but pre-registration is required. (Limited to 25 families).
