Event Description: The Division of Nature Preserves is teaming up with some of our partner organizations and land trusts to hold a series of hikes on nature preserves. The partner for this hike is INPAWS - Indiana Native Plant and Wildflower Society.
This is an evening hike starting at 5:30 PM
A trail runs through this 15 acre nature preserve located in Morgan-Monroe State Forest. The site is a mix of Beech-Maple and Oak-Hickory forest that extend over a rugged hillside. Although small in acreage, this impressive woodland is host to a rich and colorful assemblage of spring wildflowers and ferns.
This preserve is located south of Martinsville in Morgan-Monroe State Forest. Park at the camping picnic shelter at Scout Ridge Youth Campground.
