Spring Mill State Park Hosts an Heirloom Plant and Seed Exchange
Start Date: 5/13/2018Start Time: 1:00 PM
End Date: 5/13/2018End Time: 3:00 PM
Event Description:
Spring Mill State Park invites you to participate in our annual Heirloom Plant and Seed Exchange on Sunday May 13 from 1 to 3 p.m. Bring heirloom plants or seeds from your garden to the Pioneer Village Garden, and trade them for starts grown by our village gardener

What is an Heirloom plant? An heirloom plant is a plant variety that has been cultivated at least 50 years, opened pollinated, and seeds from the plant when planted come back true to the original plant.

If you have a large garden and lots of plants to trade, call ahead and we will set a table up for you.

Don’t have anything to trade? The village gardener will also have plants from the formal garden for sale at the Pioneer Village Mercantile.
