What Bird is That? Facebook LIVE Quiz at 9:30 a.m.

Head over to our Facebook page wall (www.facebook.com/monroelake) at 9:30 a.m. EDT for a Facebook LIVE quiz with interpretive naturalist Jill Vance. She'll play the calls of birds commonly heard at Monroe Lake and challenge you to identify them before the answer is revealed!

Photo Scavenger Hunt, beginning at 12:30 p.m.

This is a scavenger hunt that you can complete on your own at Monroe Lake, at the state or local park closest to you, or even in your own neighborhood - nature is everywhere! The Photo Scavenger Hunt guide will post on our Facebook page wall (www.facebook.com/monroelake) at 12:00 p.m. EDT on May 16.

Search for the 8 natural items/scenarios listed and take a photo of each one! Send your completed photo set to jvance@dnr.in.gov by no later than 10 p.m. EDT on May 17 to be entered into the prize drawing... We're giving away a personal 30-minute Zoom meeting with our naturalist and one of our live snakes!
