Women’s Learn to Fish, Potato Creek State Park

Event Description:
Women’s Learn to Fish is the first workshop in a series of three women's Learn to Fish workshops at Potato Creek State Park. Attendance at this workshop is required to attend the Women's Learn to Fish with Lures on June 20.

This workshop is tailored to women new to fishing who are interested in learning how to fish. No experience is needed. Participants will learn basic fish biology, gain some basic fishing skills, and fish at the property’s lake or pond.

Participants must be 16 years or older. Participants under 18 must be accompanied by a related adult. Participants 18 and older must have a fishing license, which must be purchased in advance online (if you don't already have one) at or a local retailer. All bait and fishing equipment will be provided. Workshop is free, but a gate fee will be enforced upon entry to the park.

Pre-registration is required. Register online by clicking the red "register" button at the top right.
